Julie Badillo

Vice President, Program Alliance Management

Julie Badillo was appointed Vice President, Program and Alliance Management at Facet Biotech’s predecessor, PDL BioPharma in February 2007.   Since joining PDL in late 1999, Ms. Badillo has been instrumental in development of the Corporate Program Management and Operations functions. She is currently responsible for overseeing all Program Management activities for PDL’s drug development portfolio and she co-leads the portfolio management committee charged with strategic oversight of research, development and commercial portfolios. Prior to joining PDL, Julie was the Associate Director of Project Management at Chiron Corporation where she managed numerous development programs.  From 1991 to 1996 she held several positions with increasing responsibilities at Genentech Inc., where she began her career in project management.    Ms. Badillo holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
