Gwen Carscadden

Vice President, Human Resources

Ms. Carscadden, our Vice President, Human Resources, joined us in December 2008. Ms. Carscadden provides stategic HR leadership and management company-wide. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Carscadden served as the Executive Director, Human Resources, of PDL BioPharma, Inc., having joined PDL in June 2004. From March 2001 to June 2004, Ms. Carscadden held positions of increasing responsibility at Fujitsu Limited, most recently as Director of Human Resources, responsible for North American Shared Services HR Operations. From October 1986 to March of 2001, Ms. Carscadden was employed by Amdahl Corporation, most recently as Director of Human Resources, where she designed and led the company’s first centralized HR Operations center.  Ms. Carscadden received her B.A. in Behavioral Sciences, with a minor in Cybernetic Systems, and M.A. in Organizational Communication from San Jose State University.
