Health Benefits

  • Healthcare plans – Facet makes medical coverage available for all regular employees and their families or domestic partners. Several medical options are available, as well as a top-notch dental and vision program. Some of our programs include such innovative features as coverage for Lasik surgery and coverage for fertility treatment.
  • Fitness & Health – Facet employees benefit from full access to the Pacific Shores Club, a state-of-the-art 38,000 square foot facility on the Pacific Shores campus that is complete with a full service day spa, fitness center, rock climbing wall, gymnasium and outdoor fields and pool.

Life Insurance / Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

  • Facet Biotech offers basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Individuals can also opt to participate in voluntary options, such as voluntary life insurance.
  • Short-term Disability – This benefit is available once you have been disabled for 7 consecutive calendar days due to an accident or illness
  • Long-term Disability – This benefit is available once you have been disabled for 90 consecutive days due to an accident or illness

Financial Savings

  • 401(k) program — Facet Biotech offers a very competitive 401(k) program featuring a 100% company match on your contributions, up to a maximum amount of $6,000 depending on your length of service. Company contributions are made at year-end and are immediately vested.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan — Employees can set aside up to 15% of pay (up to IRS maximums) to purchase stock at a discount during two 6-month offering periods each year.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts — These plans allow you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for qualified health and dependent care expenses.

Performance-Based Programs

  • Annual Incentive Plans — All employees at Facet Biotech are eligible to participate in an Incentive Plan. Payouts are based on individual performance and contribution.
  • Employee Stock Option Program --- Employees are eligible to receive a New Hire Grant welcoming them to the company, and the opportunity for additional annual grants based on individual performance.
  • Cause for Applause Program - Is an online employee recognition program that is designed to praise employees for their efforts and honor them for their accomplishments.

Additional Benefits

  • Home & Auto Insurance – Providing a wide range of personal lines property and casualty insurance are special group discounts that are not available on an individual basis. Auto includes liability protection, personal injury protection and optional coverage for physical damage, such as collision.
  • Group Pet Insurance – Pet owners can visit any licensed veterinarian, veterinary specialist, or animal hospital in the world. Premium rates are based on age, species of the pet and the plan type selected.
  • Hyatt Legal Plan – Provides employees with access to local attorneys for such services as drawing up wills, trusts, and other legal matters.
  • Critical Illness Insurance – Covers the first occurrence of six specific medical conditions. The benefit amount received will depend upon the condition and qualified coverage amount.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Allows employees three counseling sessions per person per incident every calendar year along with a 24-hour crisis line intervention with a licensed clinician.
  • Adoption Assistance – Facet Biotech will reimburse employees for the cost of expenses, up to $3,000 related to the legal adoption of a child.

Time Off

  • We offer 10 paid holidays each year and vacation accrual that starts at 15 days per year. We also provide up to 10 days sick leave with the opportunity to bank unused sick leave for additional future protection. In addition, two personal days are granted to employees each year.

  • Tuition Reimbursement — Facet Biotech will reimburse you for successfully completing college-level coursework that is job-related and pre-approved up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year.
  • Professional Seminars and Memberships — Employees are encouraged to learn and grow in their careers at Facet Biotech. Therefore, developmental opportunities such as participation in seminars, conferences and training classes are provided to support your personal and professional growth.
